After the long holiday break, the regular flight training finally resumed last week at our hub in San Fernando Airport, La Union. Good news, is that early this month of 2019, a significant number of eaglets have started arriving in trickles to resume the lull in their flight training. Thus, on a TGIF today, January 11, 2019, the 1st Soloist for CY 2019 was one special event with the successful release for 1st Solo Flight of Student Pilot Carlo Hernandez Zarate of Biñan, Laguna by no less than the Head of Pilot Training himself Capt Vladimir Evangelista. Carlo who’s the 16th member of the 19 strong Batch Hotel 2018 to have soloed, is an IT graduate of Saint Benedict College and made it on or about 0915H flying RP-C8249 within the standard flying time. Apparently, one shining moment for Leading Edge lately is the remarkable increase in the number of new student pilots last year, which is just a confirmation of the positive projection of a very bright future for a career in the aviation industry as the current high demand for commercial airline pilots is not only here at home but also a worldwide phenomenon. Moreover, prospective students should avail and take advantage of the very affordable rates in tuition fees as an impending price increase is inevitable due to factors beyond the school’s control. Thus, while the old rate is still in effect, those who really are serious and consider a career in aviation urgent, now is the right time for them to avail of the very affordable rates offered by LEIAAI, which incidentally will conduct a PPL Ground schooling on January 21, 2019.
Once again, congratulations to the 1st Soloist for Calendar 2019, SP Carlo Zarate for achieving the highlight of his early flying career! Kudos as well to the proud and very supportive parents of Carlo, well-done! Have a happy and Safe Flight always! Cheers & God bless!✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️
