Thank God it’s Friday (TGIF)! Today, December 21, 2018 is the last flying day for the year and it is also a very special day to the tall and dashing Student Pilot Allan Arthur Garcia Jamias for making it as the last soloist for 2018. Allan is the 15th member of the 19 strong Batch Hotel 2018 to have achieved the highlight of his early flying career by successfully soloing on or about 0850H flying RP-C7669 courtesy of the Safety Officer, Capt Retz Moon Briones. Aparrently, the 29 year old behemoth who’s a BS Management graduate of Southville Foreign University and a resident of Muntinlupa City should have soloed the day before but personally decided to wait another day purposely to gain more confidence which is a very safe positive attitude. Henceforth, the lucky brand new 1st Soloist this TGIF and on the last flying day for the year may now enjoy the merriment of the long Christmas holidays and prepare for the next level of his Pilot Training early next year.
On the brighter side, despite the many challenges in the past, it was a banner year for Leading Edge this Calendar Year 2018. Divine Providence must have intervened in the process of achieving historical record breaking accomplishments this year compared to the previous years not only attaining but also exceeding the programmed flying time for the year. Moreover, there was a significant increase or doubling in the number of student pilots as well as hiring the corresponding number of qualified and competent Flight Instructors. These very positive developments were silently undertaken without sacrificing Safety and Standards, the beacon of LEIAAI’s thrust as a training institution. Moreover, in facilities and equipment, the school had acquired an additional of six (6) Cessna 172M aircraft, increasing the current training fleet from 18 to a total of 24 aircraft. Likewise, aside from the two (2) maintenance hangars, another hangar extension project is already in the pipeline early next year to establish the AMO Hub (Approved Maintenance Organization). But what matters most in LEIAAI’s 11 years of existence, is its valuable contribution to the overall aviation industry where most graduates are now gainfully employed in all major domestic airlines and in the General Aviation as well. It is with deep pride and honor that we have successfully reached the pinnacle of excellence in the school’s vision to be the best flight school in the country as well as in the Asia Pacific Region.
Once again, congratulation to the “Last of the Mohicans” SP Allan Jamias for making it in the last minute and as the last Soloist for the Year 2018. Mabuhay ang LEIAAI Family. Safe Skies! Merry Christmas to one and all! Cheers and God bless us all!✨✈️😍😘🍸🍾🎊🍻🎅🏼💕☀️😇🙏😉✌️️👍
