Congratulations to the 1st Soloist for the day, Student Pilot Maria Luisa Lizette Cordero Alvarro, a pretty tall lass from Portofino, Las Piñas City. Today’s brand new 1st Soloist, a certified accomplished businesswoman who finished her BS Tourism Course in UST, is the 2nd female member of the 19 strong Batch Hotel 2018 who successfully achieved the highlight of her early flying career with sheer guts and determination. Likewise, the very athletic lady student pilot, who was once upon a time a member of the UST Taekwando team that competed in the UAAP was confidently released for 1st Solo by the very likeable Head of Pilot Training, Capt Vladimir Evangelista this clear weather Tuesday morning on or about 0950H, January 15, 2019 on flight RP-C8249.
Once again, congratulations and welcome to the elite club of the few, young and daring flightless eaglets cleared for takeoff to explore and conquer the infinite vastness of the horizon and clear blue skies of San Fernando Airport, La Union, home sanctuary and Eagles’ Nest breeding ground for the many of Leading Edge fledgling aviators. Moreover, same accolades goes to the proud and very supportive parents for raising a very talented and accomplished daughter. At present, SP Lizzy Alvarro, who’s actively busy in managing her own Travel and Tours Agency, Prime Nakashima Holdings, may now focus and work hard in her quest for another very challenging career, a vitally bright future in the Airline Industry where most of Leading Edge’s graduates are now flying with pride and honor!
