Today, February 16, 2021, the cute and charming Filipino American Student Pilot Tatyanah Lilie Silverio Hansley successfully achieved her 1st Solo Flight on board Cessna 172M RP-C8061 on a bright Tuesday morning. The young and daring Tats, fondly called by close friends, was finally released on or about 0930H by the silent dashing behemoth, Capt. Elcid “Botchoi” Tolentino, Senior Flight Instructor and Evaluation Check Pilot. Like all the other newbie eaglets, today must have been her lucky day and destiny to make her 1st solo more exciting and memorable with the presence of her loving parents to witness a very dramatic episode in Tat’s early flying career! Likewise, there is no stopping the very talented 1st Soloist for the day in making the elite short list as her skills, knowledge and sheer guts proved to be the primary factors in releasing her without a shadow of doubt by her solo checker! The toast for today’s flight training operations, is a 22 year old Quezon City resident and a proud product of PATTS College of Aeronautics with a BS Degree in Air Transportation, where a significant number of the school’s student pilots had made Leading Edge as their stepping stone to the most glamorous and rewarding profession.
