Today is the last day for the month of January 2018 which incidentally is the deadline for the offer of LEIAAI to avail of the old rates in tuition fee, as effective tomorrow, 01 Feb 2018, an adjustment in rates will be implemented. So far, twelve (12) strong prospective PPL students were able to beat the deadline and be included in the select group of Batch “B” 2018 scheduled to start the PPL Course ground schooling on Feb 19, 2018. Likewise, the last soloist for the month of Jan 2018 is another Air Force dependent, 24 year old Student Pilot Karlo Albert Gamulao Pascua from Clark Air Base, Pampanga, son of Lt Col Robert Pascua PAF. Subject 1st Soloist for the day is a graduate of Angeles University Foundation, BS Nursing, an off-line course from the flying profession. Karlo successfully achieved the most coveted feat of 1st Solo Flight on or about 0920H, Jan 31, 2018 flying Cessna 172, RP-C6923 courtesy of Capt JC Asuncion. Thus, effective immediately, the young and daring eaglet may now soar to the high heavens, explore and conquer the vast horizon as well as the clear blue skies of San Fernando Airport, La Union.
