First Solo Flight of Student Pilot Isaiah David Manalo Hao

The week that passed was really a very lucky week as far as flight training operations is concerned, as we have attained the highest flying time or a total of 580.34 flying hours in a week, from November 5-10, an outstanding feat in the almost 11 year history of LEIAAI. Apparently, the flight school was fortunate to be a beneficiary of countless blessings from the high heavens with the prevalence of very clear weather despite Pagasa’s pronouncement of a climate change phenomenon characterized by a generally less strong northeast breeze that is cool and dry air or commonly called Amihan. Thus, with this positive developments, soloing by a significant number of presolo students were a regular sight last week that was sustained due to daily uninterrupted flight training operations. As a consequence, a total of seven (7) young and daring flightless eaglets, all members of Batch Golf 2018 were released for 1st solo flights one after the other. Incidentally, on a weekend Saturday, November 10, 2018, 21 year old Student Pilot Isaiah David Manalo Hao from San Pedro, Laguna flying RP-C6923 was convincingly released for 1st solo by Capt JC Asuncion in just 10.1 FH, highly commendable indeed. Apparently, the dashing bespectacled weekend warrior 1st Soloist is now considered among the elite short list and growing number of graduates from PATTS College of Aeronautics who have bravely took-off, explore and eventually conquered the wide vast horizon as well as the clear blue skies SFLU.
Once again, congratulations to the brand new 1st Soloist last Saturday, SP David Hao for achieving the most significant feat of your early flying career, the unforgettable “1st Solo Flight”. The same goes to the proud and very supportive parents for raising a very promising and talented son! Happy flying and have a Safe Flight always! God bless and Cheers!
