First Solo Flight of Student Pilot Gio Viel Alfonso Bernal Oreiro and Marc Jomari Manuel Taliman

As expected, two (2) of the newly reported flightless eaglets at our pilot training hub successfully accomplished their first solo flights a day after the soloing of the last Soloist of “Batch India 2017” yesterday! This morning, March 9, 2018, on a fairly good sunny weather condition, Student Pilots Gio Viel Alfonso Bernal Oreiro, 22 years old from Caloocan City and a graduate of AvTech, PATTS College of Aeronautics and Marc Jomari Manuel Taliman, 23 years from Better Living, Bicutan, an IT graduate of Asia Pacific College and both members of the 24 strong “Batch Alpha 2018”, commendably achieved their “First Solo Flights” in succession. Senior FIight Instructors, Capt Elcid Tolentino released SP Gio Oreiro on or about 0920H on board RP-C1300, while Capt Retz Moon Briones released SP Marc Taliman on or about 1030H flying RP-C8056. Incidentally, both soloists attained this unforgettable feat by virtue of their hard work, sheer interest and guts to make their initial dream come true in style. Thus, the brand new 1st Soloists for the day may now be included in the elite list of the young and daring eaglets cleared for takeoff and authorized to explore as well as conquer the vastness of the horizon and the clear blue skies of San Fernando Airport, La Union.
Congratulations to the two (2) 1st Soloists for the day for achieving the highlight and most unforgettable feat of a career in aviation, “1st Solo Flight”! Just don’t forget, that this accomplishment is just the beginning of the long and winding flight plan, touch and go’s, airworks, climb and climbing turns, cross country navigation, Instrument flying, emergency procedures, etc… towards your dream of a lifetime, to become a future commercial airline pilot.
Happy flying and have a Safe Flight always! Cheers and God bless!
