Leading Edge Updates:
The month of January must have really been reserved for female student pilots for LEIAAI as once again, another very pretty lass from Xavierville, Bgy Loyola Heights, Quezon City made it in the elite list of 1st Soloists on the last flying day of the month. Apparently, it’s an all girls’ display of skills and talent in LEIAAI’s flight training in the last week of the month of January. Hence, following SP Isay Mendoza’s soloing 3 days ago, the abled and dependable senior flight instructor Capt Vey Sastrodmedjo who handled the 1st Soloist for the day turned her over to Capt RJ Tejada for solo cross-check who in turn confidently released for solo flight the charming Student Pilot Danica Rae C Santos on or about 8:30 am Jan. 30, 2021 on a clear sunny weather flying and safely landing RPC-7512. The lucky and sweet 23 year old 1st Soloist for the day who’s fondly called Cai by her close friends is a rare breed in this trying times of the covid pandemic is a graduate of Ateneo de Manila University with a degree on BS Management.
Once again, congratulations SP Cai Santos, the 2nd of the lady 1st Soloists for the month of January 2021 for commendably attaining the most significant event in her early flying career. Undoubtedly, the cute SP Cai Santos is now one among the growing number of female flying eaglets who have sought and made LEIAAI as their stepping stone to the most glamorous and rewarding career. Welcome to the cream of the crop of flightless eaglets cleared for a safe takeoff to explore and conquer the infinite vastness of the horizon and clear blue skies of San Fernando Airport, La Union, home sanctuary and eagles’ nest of LEIAAI’s young and daring flying eaglets. In the process, the brand new 1st Soloist as early as now, may focus and work hard in her quest for a very bright future in the Airline industry where most of Leading Edge’s graduates are now flying with pride and honor! Likewise, kudos to the proud and very supportive parents for raising well a very talented daughter in Cai. Happy Flying and have Safe Flight always! Cheers & God bless!
