Record breaking news today at LEIAAI was the 1st Solo Flight of Student Pilot Joselito “Joey” Abucay Juco, a 21 year old resident of Quezon City and a BS Aircraft Maintenance Technician graduate of Flight School International. Flying Cessna 172M, RP-C6923, the 1st soloist was released by a new Senior FI, Capt JC “Carlo” Asuncion on or about 0900H, 31 August 2017 within 15.7 flying hours after a series of safe landings during touch and go’s with 190⁰ runway-in-use at San Fernando Airport. Incidentally, subject student was the 1st soloist in his Batch “Foxtrot” 2017 composed of 19 strong members as well as getting to be the last soloist for the month of August. Moreover, the burly heavyweight student pilot whose solo dunking tradition created the biggest splash at the pool on record, is the 1st pre-solo student confidently released by Capt JC Asuncion as a newly upgraded Senior FI. Furthermore, maybe by Divine Providence, the brand new 1st soloist was very fortunate to have successfully achieved the most significant feat in a timely fashion, wherein a sudden change of weather condition due to heavy rains caused the suspension of flight training operations in the 3rd and 4th periods which resulted to 4 training aircraft to rest overnight (RON) and get stranded at Vigan Airport.
Once again, congratulations SP Joey Juco for a attaining the most memorable event in your early flying career, the unforgettable 1st Solo Flight and to Capt JC Asuncion for a job well-done for your historical 1st Solo release of the subject pre-solo student! Happy flying and have a safe flight always! Cheers & God bless!✈️❤️✌️️
