logging an aggregate total flying time of 7,247.64 or an average of 2,415.88 hours per month, a very commendable achievement indeed! Apparently, on the 1st flying day for the month of April 2019, on a very clear weather Monday morning, Student Pilot Christian James Amigable Garasi, 21 years old from nearby Vigan City, Ilocos Sur successfully soloed flying RP-C8249 courtesy of Capt Leigh Bocita on or about 0950H. Likewise, the brand new 1st Soloist for the day, who’s a graduate of BS Air Transportation from PATTS College of Aeronautics is the 4th member among the 16 strong Batch 19-01 to be officially included in the elite short list of the young and daring flightless eaglets cleared for safe takeoff purposely to explore and conquer the infinite vastness of the horizon as well as the clear blue skies of SFLU. Moreover, the brand new 1st Soloist attained the highlight of his early flying career by soloing in just 13.2 flying hours, considered a sterling feat for pre-solo student pilots. Furthermore, with this unforgettable achievement of a lifetime as a young aviator, Christian James should realize that it is just the beginning of a very long and tedious flight plan, full of ups and downs, hard work, patience, discipline and due diligence to finally succeed in this very glamorous and rewarding career.
Once again, congratulations SP CJ Garasi for a job well-done! Kudos as well to the proud and very supportive parents. Have a happy and Safe Flight always! Cheers & God bless!
