As expected, another one of the flightless eaglets and member of Batch Echo 2017, Student Pilot Chon Bryan Brioso, after logging a total 16.5 flying hours, successfully attained his 1st Solo Flight today September 15, 2017 on or about 1000H or one (1) hour after SP Zuniga who earlier soloed on the same day, flying with the same aircraft, RP-C2211 and ironically, with the same checker, Senior FI, Capt Vladimir Evangelista! The assigned Senior FI was at the helm of the check-ride, when the young and daring 1st Soloist kept calm and was able to display exceptional performance during the solo evaluation, the principal reason why releasing for 1st Solo wasn’t considered a difficulty by the designated checker. Incidentally, SP Brioso was able to achieve this unforgettable feat by virtue of his pure enthusiasm, sheer interest and guts to make his dream come true in style. Thus, the brand new 1st Soloist may now be included in the short list of LEAAI flyboys ready for liftoff to explore and conquer the vastness of the horizon as well as the clear blue skies of San Fernando Airport, La Union, the home sanctuary of the Eagles’ Nest of Leading Edge.
Once again, congratulations SP Chon Bryan Brioso for achieving the highlight and most unforgettable accomplishment of a career in aviation, “1st Solo Flight”! And of course, congrats likewise to the very proud and supportive parents. Happy flying and have a Safe Flight always! CHEERS and God bless!
