On a generally cloudy weather condition this Friday morning, on or about 0900H September 15, 2017, on board RP-C2211, Student Pilot Ellen May Hipolito Zuñiga, 21 years old resident of Antipolo Rizal and member of Batch Foxtrot 2017, successfully accomplished her 1st Solo Flight, the most coveted feat in her early flying career in just 14.4 flying hours courtesy of Senior FI, Capt Vladimir Evangelista. The very young and good-looking female 1st Soloist, who’s a newly BS Entrepreneurial graduate of San Beda College, Manila, impressed the designated checker with her display of inherent skills and outstanding performance especially the safe and smooth touchdowns during the critical takeoffs and landings. Thus, effective immediately, our brand new 1st Soloist may now proceed braving in exploring and conquering the infinite vastness of the horizon as well as the clear blue skies of SFLU, where the home sanctuary of the Eagles’ Nest is located. Likewise, she would need to solemnly adhere in personally practicing the culture of discipline, hard work, perseverance, courtesy, integrity and professionalism expected in the glamorous and very rewarding career in the aviation industry.
Once again, congratulations SP Ellen May Zuñiga for attaining the most memorable event in your early flying career, the unforgettable “1st Solo Flight”. Kudos as well, to the loving parents in fully supporting the dream and aspirations of their young and daring daughter. Happy flying and have a Safe Flight always! Cheers and God bless!
