One of the latest pre-solo student pilots who reported early this month, S.P. Vince Joshua Madjos Condez achieved the most coveted feat of his early flying career, the 1st Solo Flight courtesy of Senior Flight Instructor Capt. Lance Concepcion in the morning of July 13, 2016.
The new 1st Soloist is only 20 years old, a native of Imus, Cavite and the pride of PATTS College of Aeronautics, graduating in 2015 with a degree on B.S. in Avionics.
Despite the prevailing gusty wind condition caused by “Habagat” as a result of the onset of the monsoon rains, S.P. Condez effectively flew and skillfully managed to land safely a Cessna 172, RP C7857 in a series of touch-and-go which convinced the highly competent Flight Instructor to finally decide to release the 1st Soloist for the month of July.
This once in a lifetime accomplishment was realized after 19.2 flying hours when the trust and confidence on the Student Pilot by his Flight Instructor eventually clearly manifested.
Once again, SP Condez proved to one and all that due diligence and hard work pays. Hence, he is now a legitimate member in the growing elite list of the young and daring eaglets authorized to plot a flight plan towards the exploration and conquest of the wide horizon and clear blue skies of San Fernando Airport, where the Eagles’ Nest of Leading Edge is located.
