Three (3) LEIAAI eaglets from PPL Batch 01-2020 successfully had their first solo flights on July 16, 2020 one after the other. Our first soloist is Student Pilot (SP) Samuel R. Azul who was released o/a 0935H by Senior Flight Instructor, Capt. Roy Paolo C. Matias, using RP-C7843. SP Azul is 25 years old from the City of Taguig and is an alumnus of Mapua University with a degree program of Service Engineering and Management.
The succeeding soloist is a resident of Sipocot Camarinez Sur. SP John Feter I. Palima , 26 years old, was released o/a 0952H by Capt. Vey Hubert Sastrodemedjo, also a senior flight instructor. He used the aircraft RP-C9459 in flying. He is a graduate of Naga College Foundation with a BS Degree in Medical Technology.
The last soloist for the day was SP Harold N. Lucero who graduated from Ateneo de Zamboanga University with a BS degree in Information Technology. He is 29 years old from Parañaque City and was also released by Capt. Roy Matias o/a 1045H using RP-C7843.
