First Solo Flight of Student Pilot Ryan Emmanuel Balita Bautista

Achieving flight training operations at a maximum capacity rate was the special event today, the last flying day for the month of January 2019 as LEIAAI broke the highest flying time in a month of 2,270 flying hours recorded last October 2018 by this month’s 2,391 FH. Maybe by Divine Providence and the prevalence of a generally good weather condition during the whole month of Jan 2019 as well as the Vigan deployment in the middle of the month of six (6) of our training fleet must have substantially contributed to this exemplary performance. Likewise, it also resulted to exceeding the programmed flying time of 2,074.62 FH this month by +317.62 FH. Moreover, a significant number of our PPL, CPL and IR student pilots successfully hurdled their respective checks with CAAP Flight Examiners for the period.
Furthermore, today, the last flying day of the month, Jan 31, 2019, on or about 1030H, Student Pilot Ryan Emmanuel Balita Bautista, 23 years old resident of Sta Rita, Batangas City and a product of De La Salle University Lipa, Multi-Media Arts graduate, attained the most significant event of his early aviation career, the “1st Solo Flight” courtesy of Senior Flight Instructor Capt Ronald Nario flying RP-C7653. Apparently, SP Ryan Bautista who’s the 3rd member of the 11 strong Batch India 2018 was released for solo within the standard flying time, firming up his self-confidence and officially be counted among the present breed of Leading Edge’s young and daring eaglets with the primary objective: To safely explore and conquer the infinite vastness of the horizon and the clear blue skies of San Fernando Airport, La Union, where the home sanctuary and Eagles’ Nest of the Leading Edge’s young aviators is located.
Once again, congratulations to all the Flying Eagles of LEIAAI for the historical record breaking achievement, attaining the highest flying time in a month. Kudos as well to brand new 1st Soloist for the day, SP Ryan Bautista for reaching the initial litmus test in your Pilot Training Course and earning the most significant event in your early flying career, the unforgettable “1st Solo Flight”.
