Once again, Leading Edge sustained its Flight Training Program as envisioned in producing quality trained future aviation professionals to the optimum. This Tuesday morning, April 4, 2017 on or about 0900H, Student Pilot John Cornelius Tapay De Castro, a 23 year old member of the Batch Alpha 2017 and a native of Marauoy, Lipa City achieved the highlight of his early flying career, “1st Solo” courtesy of the very competent Senior FI Capt Nathan Castrence after a Solo Evaluation Check Ride on RP C6923. Thus, officially, SP JC de Castro is now considered an official member of the elite group of the Leading Edge’s young and daring eaglet out to explore and conquer the vastness of the horizon as well as the clear blue skies of the Eagles’ Nest, the home base of the Leading Edge at Poro Pt., San Fernando Airport, La Union.
Congratulations SP JC de Castro for achieving a once in a lifetime feat, the unforgettable “1st Solo!” Remember that your flight plan towards your dream to be an Airline pilot would mean personal sacrifices, hard work and due diligence. Happy flying & have a Safe Flight always! God bless! CHEERS!!!
