Today, you may candidly state that it’s Lucky 9 for the last 2 distinguished members of the 15 strong Batch Golf 2017, as both of them achieved their “1st Solo Flights” this morning, November 9, 2017. First to make the unforgettable feat on or about 0900H, is 22 year old Student Pilot Bryle Lorenzo Tabligan Ilisan, a Conservatory of Music graduate of UST, Manila and resident of Las Piñas, flying RP-C1300 courtesy of Senior FI, Capt Roche Carranza. 20 minutes later, last, but not the least of the Mohicans of Batch Golf, is a 24 year old female Student Pilot Regine Ivah Navarette Temporal, a De La Salle University of Manila graduate, BS Legal Management residing at Scout Chuatoco, Quezon City! Regine was released for solo on or about 0920H flying RP-C2211 by the stocky & well-liked Senior FI, Capt Vladimir Evangelista. Luck must have really been smiling on the 2 batchmates as air traffic congestion at our training hub in Poro Point, SFLU started to build-up with the unusual arrival of transient trainer aircraft from other prominent flight schools located south of our training area. The primary reason of this latest phenomenon is the restriction on the regular training flights over Clark where the ASEAN Summit meeting is to be held as of press time.
Be that as it may, LEIAAI is very proud of the lucky duo for attaining the most coveted feat in Pilot Training, the most memorable event in a career in aviation, the “1st Solo Flight”! Congratulations Bryle and Regine for officially making it in the elite list of the young and daring flightless eaglets certified & cleared for takeoff, airborne to explore & conquer the vastness of the horizon and clear blue skies of SFLU. Have a Happy & Safe Flight always! Cheers & God bless!✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️
