First Solo Flight of Student Nicolo F. Yap

On February 6, 2023 SP Johannes Nicolo F. Yap of Batch 2022-09 successfully completed his first solo flight at Poro Point Freeport Zone in San Fernando City, La Union. Vice President for Operations and Senior Flight Instructor Capt. Antonino B. Salvosa and SP Yap’s pre-solo instructor Capt. Marcel Angelo C. Balabbo, Senior Flight Instructor and Assistant Marketing Officer released our first soloist on a Cessna 172 aircraft with tail no. RP-C7102 o/a 0830H. SP Yap is 23 years old and resides in Bacoor City, Cavite. He is an alumnus of University of Santo Tomas with a BS Degree in Management Accounting.
