“A Decade of Excellence and Profesionalism.” Last December 4, 2017 was the official date of the 10th Year Founding Anniversary of Leading Edge International Aviation Academy Inc. when exactly a decade ago, the flight school was registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). It was just last Saturday, December 2, 2017 that the grand celebration jibed with the 1st Alumni Homecoming was successfully held at the PAF Officers’ Club, CJVAB, Pasay City. The historical event was well attended by the LEIAAI management, staff and employees, Maintenance personnel, AMT Faculty, Flight Instructors, Alumni, scholars, ACDI Multi Purpose Cooperative BOD, CBLs, former presidents and other distinguished guests. Various awards and recognition were presented to mostly pioneers of LEIAAI, prominent of which was given to Captain Christian Liwanag, the 1st Alumnus checked-out as Pilot-in-Command or Captain in the airlines, PALEX. As a highlight of the affair, MGEN GILBERT S LLANTO AFP (Ret), the Guest of Honor and Speaker, emphasized in his inspirational message the enormous challenge that lies ahead for the school’s meaningful contribution to the growth and sustainability of the Philippine Aviation sector.
