Our Story

Building Aviation Professionals Since 2007

Founded in 2007 by five Philippine Air Force Flying School alumni, Leading Edge International Aviation Academy, Inc. (LEIAAI) was built to cultivate world-class pilots through rigorous flight instruction and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Today, as part of the Prime Aces Holdings Corporation (PAHC) group and a subsidiary of ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative, LEIAAI trains professional pilots and aircraft maintenance technicians, with several alumni now working at our aviation sister company, LEASCOR.

Our founders: MGen Gilbert S. Llanto AFP (Ret.), MGen Rolando F. Capacia AFP (Ret.), Col. Gonzalo A. Capili PAF (Ret.), LtGen Roy O. Deveraturda AFP (Ret.), and Capt. Jacob Sacro.

2007

Founded by five Philippine Air Force Flying School alumni and registered with the SEC on December 4, 2007.
2008

Welcomed our first students. More than 1,390 have enrolled since, including 34 from abroad.
2019

Expanded flight operations to Vigan Airport, Ilocos Sur.
2023

Accredited by CAAP to deliver Upset Prevention and Recovery Training, with two Cessna 152 Aerobats.
Today

1,391 graduates, with 143 now flying for commercial airlines.
