First Solo Flight of Student Pilot John Patrick E. Guzmana

There is no stopping the normal tempo of flight training operations of LEIAAI at its hub in San Fernando Airport, La Union. Thus, on a bright sunny Saturday morning, on or about 1010H, 24 March 2018, a very young 20 year old Far Eastern University, BS IT graduate, Student Pilot John Patrick E. Guzmana from Imus, Cavite, successfully made his 1st Solo Flight, flying RP-C6923. After more than 2 weeks of flight training, the brand new 1st soloist, a member of Batch Alpha 2018 was released by Senior FI, Capt JC Asuncion within the standard number of flying hours before solo. SP Jaypee “Nardong Putik” as he is fondly called by batchmates is now officially included among the growing elite list of Leading Edge’s FEU graduates. Apparently, subject 1st soloist as well as his other batchmates will most likely complete their PPL Phase after the Holy Week break to savor and enjoy the perks of being upgraded to the next level, CPL-IR sooner than expected.
