At long last, after 2 weeks lull in soloing this November 2017, the 1st Soloist for the newly reported members of Batch Hotel 2017 broke the impasse and made his 1st solo today. The 23 year old Student Pilot Danreb Apuya Clitar, a Waray from Palo, Leyte, flying RP-C6932, successfully achieved the highlight of his early flying career on or about 0915H, 22 Nov. 2017 in just 14.1 flying hours courtesy of no less than the Head of Pilot Training himself Col. Arnel Borres. Thus, the brand new 1st soloist for today have led the way for the 15 strong members of Batch “H” 2017 in their quest to become future certified pilots. Furthermore, SP Clitar is now officially included in the short elite list of the young and daring flightless eaglets who may now takeoff, explore & conquer the vast horizon as well as the clear blue skies of SFLU, where the Eagles Nest of the LEIAAI young aviators are located.
