When it rains, it pours!” For two (2) consecutive flying days, First Solo Flights at the Eagles’ Nest of Leading Edge once again became a memorable event when two (2) young and daring eaglets attained the most coveted feat in their early flying careers. On or about 0930H and 1140H May 9, 2017, two (2) members of Batch “Charlie” 2017, Student Pilots Joseph Angelo De las Alas Sarona and James Ern Getubig Bodiongan were released for 1st Solo Flights by the same Senior FI, Capt Vladimir Evangelista respectively and likewise using the same aircraft the day before, RP C7293.
Congratulations once again to the two (2) brand new 1st Soloists for the day and who are now officially included in the elite list of bonafide members of Leading Edge’s flyboys out to explore and conquer the infinite horizon and the clear blue skies of SFLU.
