Once again, Leading Edge sustained its Flight Training Program as envisioned in producing quality trained future commercial airline pilots to the optimum. Just this morning, May 8, 2017, two (2) young members of Batch Bravo 2017, Student Pilots Katrina Pablo and John Joker De los Santos, successfully achieved the highlight of their early flying careers, the “1st Solo Flight” courtesy of the very competent Senior Flight Instructor, Capt Vladimir Evangelista who released the tandem on or about 9:30 am & 11:30 am respectively, flying the same dependable aircraft RP- C7293. The batchmates are incidentally the 1st Soloists for the month of May after a two (2) week lull in soloing. Hence, officially, these young and daring eaglets are now certified members of the elite aviators of the flight school authorized to explore and conquer the vast horizon as well as the clear blue skies of San Fernando Airport, La Union, the Eagles’ Nest and home sanctuary of the Leading Edge Family!
