The level of Flight Training at our school have modestly reached a significant degree of success as far as attaining the maximum capacity in our operations is concerned. A variety of factors such as the increased number of enrollees of student pilots, fairly good weather condition, high aircraft O.R. rate, fast turnover rate of FIs and graduates to the airlines, etc… considerably contributed to the school’s overall success. Apparently, this morning, the two (2) 1st soloists for the month of April are the only remaining members of of Batch “A” 2017 who have not soloed until today. Ironically, the two (2) 1st Soloists for this month are classic examples where batch-mates, Student Pilots; SP Miguel Angelo “Miko” Gonda Averia and SP Aden Manzanas Gavilaga who both are 26 years of age and both residents of Parañaque City made their 1st Solo Flights on or about 0900H and 1130H respectively courtesy of the same Senior Flight Instructor, Capt Vladimir Evangelista with the same assigned aircraft Cessna 172M RP C7293 on the same day, April 21, 2017. Similarly, the lucky duo achieved the highlight of their early flying careers in just 11.9 FH and 10.4 FH respectively, a sterling feat for both compared to most pre-solo student pilots who normally were released for 1st solo flights at a higher flight time before soloing. Likewise, with the unforgettable achievement of a lifetime for an aviator, the lucky tandem may now be considered bonafide members of the young and daring eaglets officially authorized to explore and conquer the vastness of the horizon and the clear blue skies of San Fernando Airport, La Union, the home sanctuary of the Eagles’ Nest of Leading Edge!
Congratulations and good luck, Miko & Aden for a job well-done! Happy Flying and have a Safe Flight always! Cheers & God bless!✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️
