UPDATES: Three (3) LEIAAI eaglets successfully achieved their 1st solo flights one after the other last Tuesday, May 11, 2021, under the sunny day in the City of San Fernando, La Union. The first soloist was SP Mico Miguel Sillo from Taguig City. He graduated from De La Salle University with an AB degree in Behavioural Science. SP Sillo is 21 years old and was released for his first solo using RP-C8249 o/a 0840H by senior flight instructor Capt. Angelica Leigh Bocita, SP Sillo is from PPL Batch 2020-05.
The succeeding soloist, SP Bryan Joseph Uy also achieved his first solo flight using RP-C1859 after being released by Senior Flight Instructor & Safety Officer, Capt. Rets Moon D. Briones. SP Uy is a resident of Pasay City and a graduate of BS Mechanical Engineer from De La Salle University. The last soloist was SP Jan Karl Paglinawan who graduated from the Mapua University with degree of BS in Service Engineering and Management. The 24-year-old resident of Bacoor Cavite City was released for his first solo by Capt. Elcid Tolentino o/a 0955H using RP-C8061. SP Paglinawan and SP Uy are members of PPL Batch 2021-01.
