For the 2nd consecutive days, it seems that soloing for Batch Hotel 2017 will be the regular event at the Leading Edge training hub. This morning, on or about 1130H, Nov 23, 2017 on a clear weather day, 32 year old resident of BF Homes, Paranaque City made it with sheer guts and inherent skill. A product of De La Salle University of Manila, BS Electronics and Communications Engineering, Student Pilot Roberto Rafael Fernando Fucoy was released for 1st Solo Flight by Col Arnel Borres, Head of Training in just 12.3 flying hours. With the latest addition of 4 aircraft in the training fleet last week, the conduct of flight training would surely be sustained to an optimum level, a positive good news for the current crop of student pilots of the school. Henceforth, in line with these latest developments, the culture of focus, hardwork and discipline will be the name of the game for aspiring young blood in the aviation industry to prosper and be counted in the elite list of future certified commercial pilots.
