The Philippine Archipelago is at the peak of the rainy season based on Pagasa weather bulletin. However, at LEIAAI’s AOR, the weather condition this past week is that “when it rains it pours”! But by Divine Providence, it is not rain shower that pours, but the rapid frequency of releases for 1st Solo Flights. This Friday morning, a TGIF, October 27, 2017, a 22 year old Student Pilot Juan Gabriel Gonzales Lopez followed his batchmates earlier and successfully achieved his 1st Solo Flight on or about 1210H flying RP-C7293 courtesy of Senior FI, Capt JC Asuncion within 12.6 hours before soloing. Incidentally, Gabby, the brand new 1st soloist for the day is one of the growing number of graduates from PATTS College of Aeronautics as well as the increasing number of local residents of Lipa City, Batangas! Thus, effective immediately, this young and daring 1st soloist may now takeoff, explore and conquer the vastness of the horizon as well as the clear blue skies of SFLU.
Once again, congratulation SP Gabby Lopez for attaining the most significant feat in your early flying career, 1st Solo Flight! Happy flying & have a Safe Flight always! Cheers and God bless!
