First Solo Flight of Student Pilot Jan Michael Paler Caringal

As projected, another young and daring flightless eaglet at LEIAAI training hub successfully achieved the highlight of a very bright career in aviation, 1st Solo Flight. On or about 0930H, October 23, 2018, on a clear weather day at San Fernando Airport Aerodrome, Student Pilot Jan Michael Paler Caringal, a good looking 21 year old resident of Lipa City, Batangas, flying RP-C7653, made it as 1st Soloist for the day. The rare display of an outstanding flying skill, knowledge and guts obviously were the primary factors of Senior FI Capt Ronald Nario to release the subject student for 1st Solo Flight. Apparently, the brand new 1st Soloist is a graduate of AB Multimedia Arts of De La Salle Lipa, who out of personal love and passion to fly, enrolled at LEIAAI and hope to become a future commercial airline pilot one day. Incidentally, flying runs in the blood of the 1st Soloist, as his father, Capt Rodel Caringal, a member of PAF Flying School Class 79, was a former veteran combat pilot of the 15th Strike Wing and currently one of the most respected CAAP Flight Examiner.
Once again, congratulations to the 1st Soloist for the day, SP JM Caringal for making it to the few and elite list of future commercial pilots in the country. Kudos as well to the proud and very supportive parents, Rodel and Weng for raising a very promising and talented son. Have a happy and Safe Flight always! Cheers & God bless!
