Once again, one of the other young and daring siblings batchmates, a brother and sister team at Leading Edge successfully made the most coveted feat in flight training, 1st Solo Flight. On or about 1015H, 23 October 2017, 20 year old Student Pilot Gerard Sanchez Bautista, of Batch Golf 2017 from Base View Homes, Bgy Banaybanay, Lipa City attained the most significant event in his early flying career on board RP-C1300 courtesy of Capt Vladimir Evangelista. The newly released 1st Soloist is one among the growing list of LEIAAI flyboys of De La Salle University of Lipa where he recently finished his Information Technology Course. It is just a matter of time that his elder sister Tricia, a batchmate just like the Dalipe brothers will follow suit in her goal of making her 1st Solo as the flying skill runs in the family, since their father Capt Gerry Bautista PAFFS Class 82, a former seasoned veteran flight instructor at PAF Flying School, is now a Pilot-in-Command or Captain with Philippine Air Lines.
