First Solo Flight of SP Israel

Once again, Leading Edge sustained its Flight Training operations despite the onset of the rainy season as envisioned in producing quality trained future aviation professionals to the optimum. Just this morning, June 10, 2016 on or about 9:25 am, Student Pilot Moises Virgil Mangubat Israel, a member of the February 2016 Batch of 8, achieved the highlight of his early flying career, “1st Solo” courtesy of the very reliable Senior Flight Instructor Capt Don Hinayon after the evaluation Check Ride by the Head of Training, Col Arnel Borres in 19.5 Flying Hours. Incidentally, flying runs in the blood, due to the fact that SP Israel is the only son of Capt Butch Israel, a former PAF Chopper Pilot, now flying with AAOP and a member of the PAF Flying School Aviation Cadet Class 79. Thus, officially, SP Moises Israel is now considered a bonafide member in the elite list of the Leading Edge’s young and daring eaglets out to explore and conquer the vastness of the horizon as well as the clear blue skies of San Fernando Airport, La Union, where the Eagles’ Nest is located and the home base of Leading Edge.

Congratulations SP Moises Israel for achieving a once in a lifetime feat, the very memorable “1st Solo, impressive indeed!” Happy flying & have a Safe Flight always! God bless and Cheers for a superb accomplishment!!!
