In the morning of September 3, 2016, Student Pilot Sameer “Sam” Meneses Ajihil, 23 years old, from Paranaque City, and a product of Manila Tytana Colleges (B.S. Hotel & Restaurant Management), attained the most significant event of a career in aviation, the “1st Solo Flight” courtesy of Senior Flight Instructor Capt. Don Hinayon.
S.P. Sam was released for solo flight in just 13.7 flying hours, firming up his self-confidence and officially be counted among the present breed of Leading Edge’s young and daring eaglets.
