Leading Edge Updates: Two dauntless LEIAAI Eaglets once more conquered the skies yesterday, September 29, 2020, and achieved their first solo flights successfully. The first soloist is Student Pilot (SP) Carlo Bernard J. Lalas from the City of Muntinlupa. He was released o/a 0840H by a senior flight instructor, Capt. Angelica Leigh Bocita. He used the aircraft RP-C8061 in flying. He graduated from Assumption University Thailand with the degree program of Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business Management.
The other soloist is from Lipa City. SP Elizabeth C. Llanes was released o/a 1005H by Senior Flight Instructor and Standard Evaluation Officer, Capt. Elcid C. Tolentino. She used the aircraft RP-C8054. SP Llanes is an alumna De La Salle Lipa and took up a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology. SP Lalas and SP Llanes were both from PPL Batch 02-2020.
