As expected, another one of the young and daring flightless eaglets successfully accomplished his first solo flight with a bang! This Thursday morning, November 15, 2018 on a fairly good weather condition, the bespectacled 19 year old Student Pilot Lars Adrian Baylon Fanio from Muntinlupa City, MM was released for 1st solo flight on or about 1030H on board RP-C6923. Incidentally, the brand new 1st Soloist for today, a member of the 17 strong Batch Delta 2018, commendably achieved his “1st Solo Flight” in just 13.3 Flying Hours. The very capable Senior Flight Instructor, Capt JC Asuncion was at the helm of the check-ride, when the subject student pilot displayed exceptional performance, the primary reason why releasing for 1st Solo wasn’t considered a difficulty by the assigned checker. Apparently, SP Fanio who just graduated in the recent Dep-Ed K-11 and 12 curriculum for Senior High at Colegio de San Agustin, Biñan, attained this exemplary feat by virtue of his inherent skills, sheer passion and guts to make his dream come true in style. Moreover, the delay of the PPL flight training of Lars was due to his final completion of the K 11 and 12 Senior High schooling. Thus, the brand new 1st Soloist may now be included in the elite short list of the young and daring flightless eaglets cleared for safe takeoff to explore and conquer the infinite vastness of the horizon as well as the clear blue skies of San Fernando Airport, La Union, the home sanctuary and Eagles’ Nest of the LEIAAI flyboys.
Once again, congratulations SP Lars Fanio for achieving the highlight and most unforgettable feat of a career in aviation, “1st Solo Flight”! And of course, congrats likewise to the proud and very supportive parents. Happy flying and have a Safe Flight always! Cheers and God bless!✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈✈
